Lewis Case
Lewis Case started playing Violin at the age of nine, and began playing professionally at fifteen. Classically trained as a Violinist at Houston’s HSPVA, and as a student of Josephine Boudreaux and Donald Wright, he was mentored by Texas Fiddle Legend, Bill Northcutt. Lewis is an accomplished Violinist and Fiddler, Composer, Guitarist, Mandolin and Banjo Player. He has performed with The Blue Moon Quartet, The Houston Symphony, Houston’s Alley Theater, A.D. Players and Theater Under the Stars; he has additionally worked with David Peters, Kelly Lancaster, Steve Weisberg, Dick Kniss, and Tish Hinojosa. Lewis performs with The Lone Star Cowboys, a western band that frequently performs promoting The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and plays Violin and Moog synthesizer with the Dallas Rock band, Darwin Prophet and the Chronus Mirror. He has recorded extensively, and his career in Music has carried him across North America. Lewis is a lawyer and is a Ph.D. Candidate at The University of Texas at Dallas. A Co-Owner of Fiddle & Bow Music Company in Dallas, Lewis teaches Violin, Fiddle, Mandolin, Guitar, Bass, Banjo and music performance across a broad range of styles.
